Earth’s poles are shifting because of climate change

It is not much of the surprize that climate has been affected too much in recent decade. But I bet many of you did not know it has affected the Earth’s poles to shift.

According to the article in Newscientist, Computer simulations had suggested that the melting of ice sheets at the poles has resulted in rise of sea level and that could affect the distribution of mass on the Earth’s surface. This would in turn cause the Earth’s axis to shift.
