How To Make your own Operating System?

What is an Operating system?

An operating system (OS) is a collection of software that manages
computer hardware resources and provides common services for computer programs. The operating system is a vital component of the system software in a computer system. Application programs usually require an operating system to function. They are usually made with programming languages like C, C++ and Assembly.

How does it work?

To put it simply, an operating system carries out two basic functions: (1) it serves as a manger for the hardware and software resources held in the system and (2) it deals with hardware without the applications having to know every aspect along the way.
