Gaining the root access has never been easier than this. Google and many brands that used android are making hard to root the phone with every new release. But now rooting the phone has been so easy, every one can do it in a couple of minute. There are a issue with the ways that I am going to show you. While personally I can conform you that it worked on my device Locked bootloader Sony Xperia Z Kitkat 4.4.2 model C6603 10.5.A.0.230 and one of my friend conformed it worked on Locked bootloader Xperia Z C6630 10.5.A.0.230, I can’t conform on any of the other devices. But according to the developer it can root any android smartphone including Sony Xpeira, Samsung S5 etc. After rooting you can take the greatest advantage that rooting provides is the ability to install powerful applications that require more-than-usual privileges to your device.
Things to know
This program is not bug free and contains some bugs. Note 3 with kernel 3.4.0-257432 doesn’t seem to work. Updating to 722276 should fix. Newest Moto and HTC don’t currently work because /system is write protected. Detected as Andr.Exploit.Ratc by some virus scanners. It is an Android exploit. Will not fix. This method has not bricked any phone till now, so you don’t have to worry too much. This method will not delete anything from your device, however always make a good habit making your backup.
How to root any android smartphone(also with kitkat)?
Download the Towelroot android app and copy it your smartphone. On your device you may want to go to Settings>Security and check on Allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
The Towelroot tool developed by Geohot differs from all the standard root methods in that it uses an exploit to root phones.
Install the downloaded app. Use any File Manager app to navigate to your memory and just tap on it to install it.
After installing the app, open it.
You will see the screen above. Now just click on make it ra 1 n. It will restart your device after 15 second and after you reboot your devices will have root access. After the reboot you may want to check your root access, if it works or not. Download any root checker app from Play Store and install it and check if you have root access.
